The reasons you may be getting this error because your anti-virus or firewall is blocking the Silkroad game as it launches. You should make sure that you give access to the updater, Silkroad client and game guard. You can also update your loader and try opening the game from replacer or sro_client.exe. Try downloading the Windows Repair Tool and see if there is anything that has been hindering this game to launch.

If you are playing Silkroad Online and it suddenly gave you this error, try downloading the client again and install it with an admin account. If the game is still installed, uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select Silkroad Online among the applications and click “Uninstall.”

Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and click to delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo then go to Silkroad Online or to the JOYMAX Portal and download the latest client.

Before installing, make sure your computer meets the requirements. “Silkroad Online” supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. It requires 800 MHz Intel Pentium 3 or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, 3D speed capable video card (NVIDIA GeForce2, ATI 9000, or better), Microsoft DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card, and 4 GB hard drive space.

Before installing the game again, try to temporarily disable your antivirus or internet security to make sure all files install properly.
