The Silkroad game doesn’t run on pc

Hi,

I recently installed the Silkroad game on my computer that is running on windows vista and it installed successfully.

I have been playing it for some time but since some days ago I started getting an error message whenever I try to launch a client.

I have tried installing the game a fresh but no changes.

Anyone knows how to deal with this?

Please advise.

The Silkroad game doesn’t run on pc

Hi,

Most probably you are getting this error because your anti-virus or firewall is blocking the Silkroad game as it launches. You should make sure that you give access to the updater, Silkroad client and game guard.

You can also update your loader and try opening the game from replacer or sro_client.exe. You can get more information on the solution about this game in the below video.

That error seems to be a problem with the shortcut. Try downloading the client again. If the game is still installed, uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select Silkroad Online among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart the computer. After booting, go to Silkroad Online or to the JOYMAX Portal and download the client. Before installing, make sure your computer meets the requirements.

“Silkroad Online” supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. It requires 800 MHz Intel Pentium 3 or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, 3D speed capable video card (NVIDIA GeForce2, ATI 9000, or better), Microsoft DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card, and 4 GB hard drive space. Before installing the game again, try to temporarily disable your antivirus or internet security to make sure all files install properly.
