Error in installing iTunes + QuickTime

Hi everyone! I'm having problem installing the newest variant of iTunes + QuickTime.

I got this error message saying:

An error occurred during the installation of Assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT, version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'.

Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x8007054F.

I have related a screenshot of the non-achievement communication.

I would appreciate any assistance in this concern to help me work out with the last variation of iTunes + QuickTime properly installed on my laptop.

Error in installing iTunes + QuickTime

This error might be due to few possibilities. The description that you have given and can be seen indicates few things

You are trying to install iTunes as well as Quicktime that is designed for 64bit windows and you have the 32bit windows or vice versa.

The .Net framework is not updated in the system.

download and install the latest .Net framework. The latest is 4.0 sp1.

After installing them, download the iTunes and Quicktime of that version of which you have windows in your system i.e 32bit for 32bit windows. You will then be able to solve the issue.

If you still got the issue then it is time to do the hard step of reinstalling the windows again.
