Hi,
I have been using Edius 6.01 to edit my videos. Then, one time I got this error message with error: 13001 System Error.
I have searched the web but it seems I can’t find a definite solution to the problem.
Can anyone please give good advice on how to resolve my problem?

I know how desperate you fill when you cannot use a software you have downloaded for the purpose you meant it for. I one time had the same Error and what I have come to learn is that system Errors occur sometimes due to Memory check if the memory of your computer can support the running of Edius 13001 if not then change the machine or better still download a version which will need a smaller memory.
The other thing is to check whether the system you are using can support Edius 6.01. It can be supported by windows 7, windows XP and windows vista. If the installation was properly done, the memory can support Edius 6.01 and the system you are using is right then contact http//www.grassvalley.com/product/edius_6 for more information.

Before installing EDIUS 6, make sure it is fully compatible with your system. EDIUS 6 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 32-bit only, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or higher, and Windows 7 both 32-bit and 64-bit. It requires Intel Core 2 or faster processor or single core Intel Pentium or AMD 3 GHz with SSE2 and SSE3 support, 1 GB RAM, and 6 GB free hard drive space.
“Error: #13001 System Error” is caused by an incompatible video card driver. If you have an NVIDIA video card with version 320.49 or higher, that triggers the error on EDIUS 6. To fix the problem, you need to downgrade your video card driver to a lower version. Uninstall your existing NVIDIA software then install the next version below 320.49 or older.
It seems the problem only affects users with NVIDIA graphics adapter. If you are using a different video card, you should not be affected by this bug.
