Internet explorer version 8 error when opened

How will I solve the following error?

I recently opened internet explorer version 8 when an error stated that my computer has a corrupted default internet explorer 8 settings, etc.

It also states that internet explorer 8 will start the dialog for the search provided  that I can alter my search provider.

What should I do?

Internet explorer version 8 error when opened

If the error message told that internet explorer has corrupted settings, then the option that you have here is to just get another internet explorer setup and install it. The registry settings of internet explorer might have been tampered with either by accidentally deleting them or due to a virus attack.

I will therefore suggest that you download the latest version of internet explorer which is more stable than internet explorer 8 and install it. You can alternatively install another browser, for instance Google chrome of Mozilla Firefox which I find to be even more faster in their performance compared to internet explorer.
