Emails are getting deleted alone

what's the problem on email getting deleted on outlook?

We are using Windows XP and Outlook 2007. We have also installed SBS 2011 and Exchange Server. Eight users are there. This is the first time we are using Outlook. We have installed the AVG as Antivirus in the workstations and ‘Clamwin’ in the server. Everything is working fine except some of emails are missing its data. So we have to request people to resend the email to Gmail account to read. This is happening sometimes and I think it is the problem with Outlook. Kindly help me to get out of this problem. Thanks in advance.

Emails are getting deleted alone

First of all, are you using Outlook at work or you using it at home? In case you are using outlook at work, then it may be possible that the company that you are working for has a rule in place that has been set to automatically deletes or archives the emails in some different location, and therefore you will need to check that.

The other possible cause of such kind of a problem is having "Unread Messages" chosen as the view, and therefore you will need to:

• Make sure that you are viewing your Advanced toolbar.
• And when there, you will need to ensure that it shows "Messages" and not one of the other options.
• Save the changes.

Hello Ardelle Armstrong, I have read your issue regarding the emails being deleted or missing on Outlook. I had experienced the same issue before. Are you using the same workstation or computer always when you use Outlook? The messages you had were never deleted. The problem could be how your emails had been set up from your Administrator. I noticed that if you are not using the same computer from your previous work shift you can’t see the stored or saved email not unless you have the same computer. If you are using only one computer the key is to check with your administrator because they will be the one to modify it.

Hi guys! Thanks for giving me the ideas to mend this. We already worked out the right setting to avoid deleting our emails on outlook. I am lucky to have shared this problem in techyv. Thank you so much!
