Problems Encountered after Disabling Microsoft Services

Can someone please tell me which features of Microsoft can be disabled without bringing about negative effects on the performance of your computer? The last time I disabled some Microsoft services, I was unable to access the internet services and also the display properties acted strange. I want to avoid this again.

I need an expert’s help.

Problems Encountered after Disabling Microsoft Services

It will depend on what activity that you want to do on your computer that you will not need to be using some Microsoft services. You could have at least mentioned the task for it to be easier to try and figure out the applications that you might disable. But generally, it is not advisable to turn on the Microsoft features for most of them are crucial to the performance of the PC.

For instance the windows firewall will protect your computer from any threats of attack by viruses and malware, and the windows update features will help keep your system applications up to date and improve their functionality.

Problems Encountered after Disabling Microsoft Services

If you are using windows 7 or 8. The reason for stopping internet access might be due to stopping DNS and DHCP Clients and few other Network related Services. So do not disable these services in future.
