I need information regarding the chief features and functions of HP Model Discovery Services. Does anyone here already tried this service? If so, can you please tell me more about it based on your experience? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this software? I just really need a fast and effective installed servers. Thanks.

What are the key features of hp model discovery services?

HP Location Discovery Services is powerful equipment that actually fuses physical rack with other essential IT equipment to provide a computerized location awareness for an organization’s installed servers. I have not personally used it but it comes highly recommended from professional quarters.  

Its key features include:

• Tracking new server installations and movement of equipment.
• Automatic synchronization of server location with Insight Control and HP intelligent PDUs thereby speeding up configuration.
• It installs without additional tools and it does not require extra power or network connection for operation.

Cons: May be a little costly.
