How do I find the Fully Qualified Domain

I have enabled Remote Assistance on a new laptop and I hopefully solve any minor problems of the user of that laptop that he might have from home. But, to use Windows Remote Assistance, I need to know the laptop’s Fully Qualified Domain Name. In the system, the Full computer name is displayed as x-PC (x is just the user’s name) and Workgroup as WORKGROUP, and this information is not sufficient.

I need to know that how do I find the Fully Qualified Domain Name as completely?

How do I find the Fully Qualified Domain

 

FQDN or better known as Fully Qualified domain is the completed domain name of a computer, network or host on the internet. It is mainly made up of two parts: host name and domain name. For example, personalmail.somecompany.gov. The host name is personalmail and the domain name is somecompany.gov. .gov is the top level domain name. To get the fully qualified domain name of the computer go to Start > Run > Type cmd > type ipconfig /all > look for host name and primary dns suffix. You just have to add the host name and primary DNS suffix to get your FQDN.
