Looking for Matlab SVG Reader?

Hi Everyone!

Does anyone experienced using the Matlab SVG reader? Can anyone please tell me how to properly use the reader? Is there a downloadable user’s manual? By the way can I install the reader in Windows 8 desktop computer? If you are an advanced user, can you please share your experiences in using the reader. What are your encountered problems upon using the SVG reader? I’ll be waiting for your responses. Thanks.

Hello Amy,

 

Matlab releases its upgraded versions regularly which are compatible with the latest operating systems. So, yes, you can use the Matlab SVG reader with Windows 8 PC, but you need to be sure that the version you are using is compatible with windows 8 platform. Use latest version.

You can find numerous user guides over the internet, but I would suggest you to take help of video tutorials to learn as video lectures provide a good mix of theory with its practical aspects. Once you start learning you will face problems as well, but I am not listing them here as your set of problems may differ from the ones I faced as you may probably have a different learning approach than I had.

Hello,

Matlab SVG reader is a great tool in graphic design and you can download it here  http://svg-reader.script.soft32download.com/ . MATLAB 8.1 should work in Windows 8; it currently works on my Linux system pretty well; it is a great tool compared to the more expensive versions in the market. As for the manual, a PDF as well as a PPT version is available here http://www.cse.cuhk.edu.hk/~cslui/CSCI1050/book.pdf
