Which are minimum system requirements to install Matlab R2012a with Simulink? And can I install the program with Windows Vista?

The system requirements for Matlab R2012a are the following:
- Windows 7 or Service Pack 1.
- Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
- Windows XP Service Pack 3.
- Windows XP x64 Edition Service Pack 2.
- Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 or R2.
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Service Pack 2.
- Any Intel or AMD x86 Processor that can support SSE2 instruction set.
- 1 GB free disk space for MATLAB only but 3-4 GB free disk space for typical installations.
- 1024 MB RAM or at least 2048 MB is recommended.

Technical support is also available for Windows Vista and currently, the product is supported based on its platform road map. I see no problem that your software will not run on Windows Vista since it is supported. If you have not updated the Vista service pack, do so now as it is the required product.
