Is it possible to lock the records after the updates in Access database? I also would like the interface to show only a certain form for the user to fill out.

Possibility to lock the records after the updates in Access database

It is possible to lock records in Access database. This is due to the fact that it is very easy to overwrite, delete and change data accidentally in Access. You may try to set a form ‘AllowEdits property to prevent or not allow the changes made or you may also lock any unbound control via filtering or navigation. What it will do on the form and database is it will lock the bound control on a form and handles the same thing on its sub forms as well.
