Different data transferring rates in the USB

When I connect my USB to my machine, the data transferring rate are good. But when I connect it to others the rate is like 1/100th of mine.

Different data transferring rates in the USB

Every PC has a batch of USB ports in it, First batch of ports is called the USB Full‑speed selection (12Mbit/s, aka USB 1.1), the other is faster High‑speed selected (480Mbit/s, aka USB 2) and the third is ‘Super Speed USB’ (4.8Gbit/s, aka USB 3).

First of all, these three different setups are very user friendly, suppose, if you want to plug a Full‑speed or High‑speed USB device into a Super Speed USB port it will at its own speed, it won’t run any faster. The most significant thing to find out, then, is the maximum speed available from your ports.

Super Speed USB 3 ports are still slightly rare, having been available for less than a year, but should be easily recognizable by their bright blue plastic, whereas both USB 1.1 and USB 2 ports are mostly black. These are the ones that most musicians will be trying to distinguish between.
