Where can I find log scan linux?

Hello,

Where can I find log scan linux? Is this an application wherein we can scan some viruses in the registry. I just want to know about this. For the technology is where we rely on nowadays. Thank you

Hi,

I don’t think there will be a registry available in Linux all you have in Linux is classes and kernel. What ever we install in that system, the tools directly interact with kernel and do their job as is. The main thing is there could be errors or warnings recorded. These can be recorded in /var/messages file. This can also be called as log location where you will find whatever is been happened to system. It will be recorded. The main thing over here is that you can actually do some research on this and you will be able to do everything. The messages will be having all the errors warning and one more thing each application that is being installed in Linux system will maintain its own log directories also.
