Intranet is a computer network which allows us to share information within the organization. Only certain people can use it who are part of the network and have password. To make an intranet you need to follow these steps:

Step 1: You need to create a local area network or LAN. For this you need to have a NIC and cross over cables to connect modems, printers, etc.

Step 2: Consider different factors such as cost to decide a web server.

Step 3: Choose and install a web browser.

Step 4: Decide on the information and the way you want to design it.

Step 5: To protect it you need to have a password and also make it secure from viruses.

Step 6: You need to have a back up.
