Inserting Record Format File with IBM PAGNBR

When and where should I enter the Record Format file with PAGNBR field to obtain the page number in Printer File? I have already declared the keyword PAGNBR in the program described printer file which is the PRTF. Is there anything else that I need to do?

Inserting Record Format File with IBM PAGNBR

Hello Eve Cooper,

Are you trying to insert numbers in a document while you are printing it, or what exactly are you trying to do? Because if you need to insert numbers in a document that you want to print then you should insert them before you even go to the process of printing.

On the printer dialog you can only specify the number of pages you want to print and customize the number of sheets per page and other tasks, but I do not think you can be able to insert the numbers on the pages of the document that you want to print by using the printer dialog box.
