Collecting statistics using awr and addm

Hi In our company OEM is not installed.How can i collect the statistics using AWR and ADDM?And how can i tune the database.?pls explain.

Collecting statistics using awr and addm

This is a very lengthy process that you have to follow in order to get things to work for you.

First you have to see the AWR model and make a list of all the rules and regulations that are present in the model and are currently being followed.

Now design the triggers that would gather the statistical data from the system without damaging any rule that would cripple the whole model.

This might also produce false results that might lead to wrong decision making based on the data collected.
