I need software to manage linux server

Hi guys.  I'm trying to transition from Red Hat Enterprise Linux to SUSE Enterprise Linux.  Is there a program or software to manage Linux servers so I could type only once a single command into several PC's?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Hello

I found great site which explains to you which software is best for managing servers on Linux. You can find it here: https://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/server-provisioning-software.html

On that site you can find all information about software for server. Every piece of software has it's advantages and disadvantages so read carefully that article in order to find best software for you. Also I recommend using Ubuntu as server distribution since it's flexible.

For your request I would suggest pconsole. It is very easy to use, and totally fulfill your request to manage multiple machines at once.

It allows parallel connection to every server

It is secure since it uses SSH protocol for access

Easy to install and use.

 

Otherwise you may try ClusterSSH, Puppet, Capistrano.
