Is it possible to change PDF file to document file using OSS?

Our current environment is installed with an Open Source Software (OSS) for Office programs, is it possible to change PDF file to a document file by using this program? Is there a tool within the particular office program that will perform this type of task?

Hi Annieva,

You are referring to PDF converting to Word file or text file. So far there is no software available in the market today that can direct/translate PDF to Word file especially scan PDF file converted to text files, but there is a new solution of this problem by purchasing a new duplex scanner which enables directly translates PDF to Word, all you have to do is just edit unrecognized text for finalizing. You can order scanners online, there are many brands available to choose from. Make sure you have a latest PC because this device need a high speed PC and higher storage.

Is it possible to change PDF file to document file using OSS?

 

There are some nice and easy ways to convert PDF document. There are both online and offline (through software) way. I am explaining two best ways to you

The first one is the online way and for this you have to go to the site http://www.docspal.com. This site is not only to convert the PDF to document but also it can convert from many file types like CSV, DOC, BMP, JPG etc. After going to do a site on the first step you have to upload a file or enter a link of your file. Then on the second step you have to select the conversion type and on the third step is to click on the convert button to convert the file to your desired.

The second one is the offline way which you can do with software which you can download from here. This is a PDF to word converter and this is only 598 kb. After downloading the software and installing it you can find the Windows like below and there you have to click on ‘Add PDF Document’ button, add a PDF document and then and then ‘Start Convert’.

You are done.
