Tcp ip logger activex not working

Hi.  I recently purchased and installed TCP IP Logger ActiveX for reading data from a TCP/IP port to Microsoft Office.  The program just crashes when launched.  What could be the problem?  I'm on Windows XP 64 bit Sp 2 and Microsoft Office 2003.  Thanks.

Hi Deanna,

There are few reasons occurring this problem and several root to solve this problem. The software you purchased can be troubled or missing directories. That case at first go to the control panel then administrative tools to service tools. Reinstall the system and restart your pc then if does not work then the program is must be corrupted. If then you found this does not work you can look after you can have another software installed. Get them all uninstall & reinstall or download the latest version of the software you have.

Tcp ip logger activex not working

What is the version of the TCP IP Logger ActiveX that you purchase and installed? Try upgrading it since there are bugs from older versions that are already fixed from newer versions. And to install it correctly, follow the steps below:

1. Close all the running instance of Advanced TCP/IP Logger and then start the installation.

2. It will be installed to the /Programs Files/Advanced TCP/IP/Data Logger folder by default but you can change it anytime.

3. During the installation, you will be prompted with a confirmation to register TCP/IP Logger ActiveX. If you did not confirm this process, you need to run !register.bat on your program folder.
