Hello experts,

I am curious about windows live messenger IP ranges? Any chatting software all over the internet such as, Facebook, windows live messenger, Skype and yahoo messenger really needs to have an IP, but while we keep on chatting over the internet I am just curious on how the IP range changes from time to time?

Hi Brenda,

Do you mean you want to see the IP address of your chatmate while chatting? IP addresses are figures assigned to every computer or gadget that connects to the internet. In other words, each computer has its own unique IP address, and you cannot change it or hide it. There are software available which can hide your IP address, like VPN (Virtual Private Network).
