Netflix playback error on Sony Play Station 3

1. Reset the app.

2. Update the app if there is any update is available.

3. Go into devices settings…clear the data usage. 

4. Check your internet connection. Also, maybe someone else in your household is using the Netflix. If your internet connection doesn`t work, go over to your neighbors or friends house and try their wifi. If that doesn`t work, then I would try and call Netflix support. This happens all the time.

5. Check the memory card: This error will come because my memory card was full. If the hard drive is full, try deleting apps you do not need to see if this helps with streaming netflix.

If you are getting the “error ui-122” message when playing a movie on Sony PlayStation 3, see if you are using VPN, proxy, or unblocker software. If you have any of these, you should disable it to continue using Netflix and watch a movie on your Sony PlayStation 3. The reason for this is that these types of connections often used to bypass geo-location methods.

If you are using one of these, your connection or your internet traffic will be routed outside your current region and because the Netflix content library can vary by region, you will not be able to stream. Another way you can try is to play another title. This way you can check if another title plays without triggering the error.

If you’ve successfully played another title without getting that error, go to the Viewing Activity page and click “Report problem” next to the title you were playing that triggers the error. If you don’t see the “Report problem” link then the problem was reported automatically to Netflix. If this didn’t work, try restarting the device. Disconnect your device from the power outlet for about a minute.
