An Error has occurred in Internet Explorer 8.0

I recently installed Internet Explorer 8.0. However when I try to open some website it always gives me this error message. It says something about time zone or the calendar. The complete error message you can see in the below image. Does anybody know how to resolve this? Let me know please

Hi Sidney,

I think you’ve already checked your system date & time option. If you haven’t checked yet then please go to Start Menu. Click Control Panel. Click region and language. Set it according to your location. Then try to run IE again.

On the other hand you can install or download a new version of Internet Explorer. It’ll be a good idea.

An Error has occurred in Internet Explorer 8.0

This problem is not a major problem. In fact the problem is this, you have not set a time zone for your country during installation of window.

So that, now the internet server has detected that the time zone is different from the original. You have not to worry about it.

Just act as i direct, double click on clock or time shown in the system tray.

It will open date and time settings. Click on time zone. Here you will see a long list of countries of the world and time zone like GST, GMT +5 etc.

You have to select your time zone. Then apply and OK.

Restart your computer. And now you are free from this error.
