How many rows of apps will the iPhone hold

The new Iphone 5 is suppose to have a really big screen . Will that alter the number of rows of apps it displays or will the apps be just that much bigger.

Dear Chris J,

First of all about iPhone 5 nothing can be said for sure as it is not official. All we can do is guessing from leaked photos or information. The upcoming iPhone 5 is supposed to have a 4 inch retina display with a resolution of 640×1136 pixels. And it will be 8mm taller than the previous iPhone 4/4S. So, it leaves much space for the fifth row. iPhone 5 will be running on iOS 6. The rumors strongly say that we will see an extra row of apps on the home screen in the finished version of iOS 6.

So, we can hope for another row of apps in the next generation iPhone. I hope you might get this information useful.

How many rows of apps will the iPhone hold

iPhone 5 has not been officially launched but there are a lot of speculations about the designs and features. I have read an article stating that iPhone 5 is more likely will have five rows of apps in its drawer. On the previous iOS, when users adjusted the screen resolution, it will result to an extra gap between the applications but on the future iOS 6, an additional row will comes up. This iPhone 5 is expected to be a 4-inch touchscreen with 640×1136 pixel resolution. And also, it includes a dock connector with slimmer screen, a headphone jack and a FaceTime camera. Let's just wait till Apple finally release this much awaited iPhone 5 as all these details are all just speculations.
