Fatal error message shown during the installation of Windows SDK for .NET

Hi,

I am getting fatal error message during the installation of Windows SDK for .NET-November 2011. I am using the WebPI for installing Windows Azure and got the following nasty error message. Can I fix the following error message? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Error:

Operation failed with 0x80070643

Fatal error during installation.

Fatal error message shown during the installation of Windows SDK for .NET

Hi Reginald,
The error is because the .Net installation on the computer has been corrupted.
The solution to it is:
1) Close all the running applications
2) Click start, type 'uninstall' in the search box, Click 'uninstall a program'
3) Double Click 'Microsoft .Net Framework for client profile'
4) Select 'Repair .Net framework for client to its original state', Click 'Next'
5) After the repair is complete, Click 'Finish'
6) Click 'Restart Now'
7) After the computer is restarted, Click 'Start', type 'Windows Update'
8) Click 'Windows Update' and install latest windows updates
