Micromax mobile x550 not responding

I have a Micromax Mobile x550 GSM 1800 Touch phone.  The problem started yesterday when I was to answer a phone call.  The touch screen display stopped responding.  The only thing working is the power button.  Tried rebooting the phone with the same results.  What gives?

Hey there Cruz,

Since everything except for the power button stopped working at once, we can hope that it is a software problem and not a hardware one. Try connecting your phone to the PC and reboot it in the recovery mode. If everything works fine then reset it back to factory settings and enjoy using your phone again. Else, visit your nearest Micromax service centre ASAP. Cheers.
