How to secure mobile phone from illegal access?

I currently read that a mobile can easily be access unauthorizedly and data be leaked. Can anyone tell me the best ways to prevent that from happening to my mobile phone? Also, I read that encrypting the data on mobile phone brings more security. I saw the option on my phone but I am not sure how it works. Can anyone explain it to me?

How to secure mobile phone from illegal access?

I think encryption is the best idea for keeping your mobile data safe.To encrypt your data you follow that rule:

 

1. First,you have to go settings.

2. Click on security, then you can see the Encryption menu and click on it.

3.Click on Screen lock option and your android device is ready to encrypt.

4.Then you have to give a pin for encryption.After that you have to select encrypt tablet or encrypt phone.

5.Then you have to give a password for the last step to encrypt the device.

 

After following these rules, you can encrypt your phone. But it can take time to encrypt and also when you encrypt your phone you have to plugged out of your charger.
