Battery bar pro 2012 error on Windows 8

I just installed a licensed Battery bar Pro 2012 on my Acer Aspire V5 with Intel B1007 1.6 GHz processor to have an accurate battery measurement.

Upon launching the program, it gave an error of "Battery Bar has experienced an unexpected error". 

I'm on Windows 8 64 bit.

Could this be a compatibility issue?

Battery bar pro 2012 error on Windows 8

Hello Warren,

It's not compatibility issue. I think you  did not run the program as administrator. System  configuration you have mentioned is fully compatible with the software. First uninstall the software and install it again as an administration. It will be ok.

Battery bar pro 2012 error on Windows 8

Hello there!

Try to download BatteryBar Pro from this hyperlink: BatteryBar Pro. It should be compatible with Windows 8 OS but try to restart your computer and make sure to log in as an administrator. Try to check your security software settings and disable it if possible to avoid restrictions.
