I have few questions here does your system hangs when you open HD Adeck as you were unable to close the application and going for a reboot. If it hangs then directly press Alt+Ctrl+Del so that you will be able to see the task manager opened with running application list just right click on Adeck and click Go To Process. Then select that process and click on end process which kill the process and you don't need to reboot your system. 

If your system doesn't hangs then you don't need to press Alt+Ctrl+Del to access task manager rather you can open the same from Task bar by right clicking and selecting the Task Manager and do the same process as above to kill the process.

How to Close HD ADeck

That’s a very odd application if there is no close button. Maybe the program is designed to run continuously in the background that’s why an exit button was not created. Anyway, if there is no way to close a program like you cannot find a close button usually marked by “X” on the upper right corner of the screen, check if the program has a menu.

Sometimes programs that don’t have the close button always have menus. If there is, click “File” then select “Exit” at the bottom. This will close the program just like clicking on the close button. But in case there is also no menu in the program, the last option is to close it from the Task Manager.

Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC on your keyboard to bring up the Windows Task Manager. In the Task Manager, select “Applications” tab then click on the program you want to close to select it. Next, click on the “End Task” button to close the program.

If you know the executable or EXE file of the program, go to “Processes” tab and look for the program. Select it and then click “End Process.”

Just hit the ESC button to close the Task Manager when you are done.
