There have been many new Windows OS released since Windows 98. Are there any new programs that were made recently to run with Windows 98?

The question you ask now a days should not need anything with this question because now a days so much latest OS has been launched but what you have asked is that is there anything new develop for OS windows 98 but for you information there are nothing new develop in OS windows 98 for many past year and OS windows 98 are not using for so many past years that is why no working done in this field.

Are there new programs made for Windows 98?

Nope, there have been no applications made specifically for Microsoft Windows 98 although there are still programs that can run and support this operating system but very minimal. The reason is because it is already obsolete and very old. Support for Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition including Microsoft Windows Millennium ended on July 11, 2006.

And because support has been concluded for these operating systems, the operating system can no longer support the latest technologies. Drivers made for new devices can’t be installed on Windows 98 because they were designed for later operating systems. Nowadays, it is very rare to find a program that can run Windows 98.

If you can find a program that supports Microsoft Windows 98, expect a very simple interface. At this point in time, it is no longer recommended to still use Microsoft Windows 98 or any outdated operating system because common programs no longer support them especially the drivers for devices. Though you can’t use latest available applications, you can still use the programs that were created for this platform.

They still continue to work and are still available on the web for download. Programs that support Windows 98 will continue to work and be available for as long as there is a user who uses Microsoft Windows 98.
