Window Mobile OS is a new wave in Mobile Operating Systems. What Kernel do Windows OS follow in Mobiles? Kernels are labeled at which layer of OS Architecture? Do they have micro kernel architecture or monolithic?

What Kernel do windows operating system follows?

You are talking about the kernel of windows mobile, it is windows CE 5.2 kernel. It was first published as Pocket PC 2000 OS (operating system), with just a few basic applications. Then it was developed this year,    and was designed to have  the same look as desktop windows but it is always micro. The last version of windows mobile is 6.5.5.  For this the latest kernel is Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3.

There have been a lot of big improvement to the kernel for the windows vista core and also

The infamous Microsoft Windows Server 2008 OS.

This improvement of Kernel takes big step forward because Kernel improvement give a lot of benefit in low level functions of OS

What Kernel does includes scheduling of thread, making integration and exception to the system,

Synchronizing of processors, and also setting up tasks and simple objects that other operating system need

To apply a higher level of command

Hello,

By simply computing the main components from the computer operating systems including managing the system resource, it can manage a file, or may be managing a memory to your computer and then it can be a bridge in the application.  It  can process data in the hardware level.

The kernel is a basic component of the operating system and it can be the lowest-level of abstraction layer for the resource.
