Error with Malwarebytes’s anti malware

I was using Malwarebytes’s anti-malware for some time now. However, I got an error message (please see image). How do I deal with this problem? Is there a fix for this?

Error with Malwarebytes’s anti malware

Hi there Brett C Stalter,

 

The first thing to do is to check your internet connection, as the error may be the result of broken connection to the software database. 

Also, if you've installed any additional antivirus software, there may be a conflict between two different security tools so one or both stopped working. You can easily fix this by uninstalling one of the antivirus tools. Just make sure that using the official uninstaller for the antivirus programs is highly recommended. 

 

If none of the above solutions help, either the software is outdated or files are corrupted. Try updating the application and if it still doesn't work, uninstall it and do a fresh install.
