Error Running Doujin Visual Novel True Remembrance

Has anyone tried running doujin Visual novel True Remembrance?

I managed to install it, but when I open the launcher (true.exe) the game crashes and a blank error window appears.

 I can’t seem to find out what the problem was since it was blank, and I was hoping someone knows how to fix this.

Error Running Doujin Visual Novel True Remembrance

If you are running Windows Vista on your computer, I don’t see any problem running this game on your machine. But if you are using Windows 7, and I think you are, then this is really a problem since it will not work on this kind of platform. Shiba Satomi’s True Remembrance works only with Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. If you want to play this one, you might consider installing and running it on a virtual machine that runs with either of the three [3] operating systems mentioned above.

If I’m wrong about the version of your operating system then might as well try reinstalling the whole game. Uninstall Shiba Satomi’s True Remembrance and then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the game back after this and then see if this fixes the problem.
