How private is browsing in chrome incognito mode? I was checking my LinkedIn account where I was bombarded with targeted sponsored ads about some of the things I recently search about. I taught browsing in chrome incognito will delete my browsing history, why is my browser still tracking the pages I previously visited? What can I do to prevent this happening in the future?

Does chrome incognito mode browsing really worth it?

Incognito Mode can hide browsing history or session from most Ad Agencies but not from all specially from malware. There will be some ads pop ups or malware that will be able to penetrate and take control of your browsing. While in incognito mode and you go to websites with possible malware, Google Chrome will just warn you but there will be an option to continue to the website. You can consider installing Ad/Cookies blocking plug-in such as Adblock Plus or Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out (TACO) and other Ad/Cookies blocking plug-ins.
