How Sony's new PS Vita Firmware update is beneficial for user? Since this update is optional for the user, will there be any problem if I won’t choose to update it?

Necessity of PS Vita firmware update

PS Vita Firmware is Sony’s recently released new system – version 1.69. If you want this update just go to your Settings application and manually update, this update is optional so you won’t get prompt. It’s a minor system software update that improves software stability Eric Lempel VP for Sony Network Entertainment said. Systems update is made an easy use and for preparation of the upcoming new games releases and future updates.  Version update 1.69 is a 97 MB in size which would make your download a lot faster and easier.
