Is a remote for Chromecast possible or not?

Usually the users mobile device is been used to launch and control media streams in Chromecast streaming stick. I heard that it is possible to create a remote based on the phyton script, Rhaspberry Pi which can control the Chromecast on the same network. Is a remote for Chromecast possible or not?

Hello Ronld M Peterson,   yes,you can use chrome cast remote. It enables you to use mobile device remotely. Chromecast is a very small and compacted device which is used with many electronic devices like iPad and iPhone,Smartphone etc. You can use chromecast as the remote device by running the Python script.
