I am a complete newbie to InfoPath.

My question is, "In Microsoft Office InfoPath, is there a tool to validate data when users enter an invalid entry so that users would not be able to provide an answer which is irrelevant to my research?

Microsoft Office InfoPath validate entry

Data validation can be used to show error warnings when customers enter inappropriate values into a form.

Rather than inspection for faults after a form is finalized, data authentication confirms values as the form is actuality filled out.

Data validation can similarly be done with VBA programming privileged a Microsoft Word document otherwise Excel spreadsheet.

Data Validation tests whether input into fields is valid, by associating the input to patterns, inspection if it is the accurate data type (e.g., a String or an Integer), and in other customizable methods.
