So where do I start? How do I begin to use github? I would like some experience user of github to help me understand the inner working of this website? Is it true that github is secure enough to conduct private computing projects without any violation of intellectual property? How can I know that my codes are protected from getting damaged, stolen, or modified without my consent?

How do you use github for computer-related activities?

Basically GitHub is a Web based graphical interface also available on desktop as well as on mobile you can say it a Source Code Management tool.

It provides many other features like Task Management, Big tracking and feature requests for your projects.

GitHub is like a social networking for developers so once you are there you can share all your codes to others and also can see what others are working.
