What are the advantages and disadvantages of using github?

Could anyone who has used github tell me about the pros and cons of using github? What did you like about github? How did github help you execute your projects efficiently and on time? What did you not like about github with regards to the services that they provided to you? Would you recommend github to people who like to code for personal or business reasons?

Hi Jamie L Giones.

I Have used Github in the past and it was completely wonderful! Personally, there were no problems for me. I use it only for Ruby on Rails projects and it is so important that it becomes an imperative! A lot of Ruby gems are hosted on Github; people who want to view my codes use GitHub. It aided me in executing my projects efficiently and on time because of its easy to use interface, fluid source control system and it is very intuitive. I would recommend GitHub for either personal or business uses as it is just phenomenal.
