Need help and assistance on hdd temperature error

Hi guys,

I recently got a HDD temperature error problem with my pc. I wonder since my pc is well ventilated. I don't get the point of getting an HDD temperature error. What are the possible causes of this error? Is this a software bug? What should I do next?

Hello,

Go to this site and download Everest: http://www.lavalys.com/

With this tool you'll see actual temperature of your hard drive. I don't know model of your hard drive but in most hard driver temperature shouldn't go above 60°C so be sure that temperature is under this. Also if you notice overheat of your HDD be sure to open computer case and clean you hard drive with soft brush then put back computer case and check temperature again.

If your temperature is high again then probably you have hardware issues.
