0x80090326 error is a Schannel error code for TLS and SSL Alerts. Schannel returns the 0x80090326 error messages when the corresponding alert is received from the Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. 0x80090326 error displays “SSL3_ALERT_UNEXPECTED_MESSAGE_10.” When a Windows client may fail to establish a DirectAccess connection using IP-HTTPS IPv6 transition technology, running the Get-NetIPHttpsState PowerShell command on Windows clients returns an error code of 0x80090326, with an interface status Failed to connect to the IP-HTTPS server; waiting to reconnect. The solution to resolve this error message is that the user has to check the Internet connection of the system and perform a network trace to troubleshoot this error.
