I am experiencing a 0xc00d3704 error when I turn on the camera on my Windows 10 PC. I am unable to use the camera app. It says some other application uses the camera, but I have not started any other app. Is anyone aware of any method that can fix the 0xc00d3704 error code?

Is Anyone Aware Of Any Method That Can Fix The 0xc00d3704 Error Code?

As the error 0xc00d3704 says that some other application is using the camera app, we will solve that first.

a. Press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE buttons on your keyboard.
b. Open Task Manager.
c. Search for any apps that use a camera, like skype, zoom, google meet, etc., or the camera app itself.

d. Right-click on it.
e. End task.
f. Please check thoroughly for such applications.
g. Restart your device.
h. Launch Camera.

If no app is obstructing the camera, update the drivers using the steps below –
a. Right-click on the start menu.
b. Open Device Manager.
c. Click on Imaging Devices/ Camera.
d. Select your Webcam.
e. Right-click on it.

e. Click on Update driver.
f. Select the Browse my computer option.
g. Click on the option that says “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.”
h. Tick the “Show Compatible hardware” option.
i. Select the video device.
j. Click on Next.
k. Complete the process.
l. Restart your device.
m. Launch the camera.
