Is There Any Way To Fix The 0xc00d36e5 Error While Playing Videos Using Windows Media Player?

I am unable to play videos using Windows Media Player on my Windows 10 PC. Here is the scenario – I bought photos and videos from a friend on a USB stick. Those were clicked from a DSLR. When I play the videos, I encounter a 0xc00d36e5 error. Is there any way to solve this?
