Quad Core for Mobile Device is really a nice hardware for any mobile phone .

What is the advantage of this?

The Quad Core Mobile Device

 

It has lower power consumption than dual core and single CPUs but higher performance per watt. It is even more power efficient due to variable symmetric multiprocessing.

 

Another advantage is that Web pages load faster. It also provides higher performance for demanding applications such as photo editing, video transcoding, web browsing, and multi-threaded gaming.

 

It has the best multitasking performance. Usually, mobile device users have several programs running at a time and single core CPUs had a hard time coping with the heavy workload. While on a quad core CPU, it can easily handle those.

 

You even have higher and advanced quality gaming experience with quad core CPU based mobile device. You can have better graphics quality and more realistic gameplay throughout.

The Quad Core Mobile Device

When you see the words “Quad Core” on the specifications of any Smartphones it points to its processor. This is the main part of the handset that makes it faster or slower besides having an extra chipset and a faster GPU or Graphics Processing Unit. If you don’t plan to use your Smartphone for playing games then you don’t need to have a nice GPU because GPU is only best for mobile games for processing heavy graphics. It would only be a waste of money purchasing a handset with the fastest GPU if you’ll only be using it exclusively for calling and texting.

A mobile handset that has a quad core processor is indeed fast because the processor has all four cores sharing all the processing of the mobile phone. The processing time for a task greatly lessens because the processes are distributed between the four cores. In any kind of work, the task can easily be accomplished if there are more than one doing the task and this is the same principle in the processor. If you’ll be comparing a processor with dual core and a quad core, the processor with quad core will surely outrun the dual core.
