Genius Audio System 5.1 Issue

Hello. I have a GENIUS audio system 5.1. I have inserted the jack into the PC. It has immediately hit up and smoke came out of the cable and since then the system hasn’t worked properly.

It stills up but the lights are not as powerful. Also the volume button has stopped working. Anyone have any idea if I can do anything except from buying another audio system?

Genius Audio System 5.1 Issue

This is more of a factory defect. Why didn’t you test the audio system right in the store before buying it?

They allow customers to test first their products so as to give the customers a chance to feel the appliance if they will like it. Especially, in audio system.

Clearly, it’s a factory defect. Don’t think of buying new sound system for your computer.

Just return the appliance you bought to the store and inform the store owner or the salesman what happened when you are already using the gadget.

They would surely shoulder the expense of fixing the item. And the best part is, they would offer you a replacement for the audio system you bought.

And this time, do a sound test right there in the store so you’ll know that it works without any explosion inside.
