Why should one convert VMWare into Hyper-V

I am currently using VMWare to implement virtualization. However, I constantly get suggestions to convert VMWare into Hyper-V. What are the benefits of this conversion?

Why should one convert VMWare into Hyper-V

The idea to convert VMWare into Hyper-V is acceptable because the files are stored as VHD files on the Windows server. Usually, people find it simpler to work with the Windows server. Also, the Microsoft Hyper-V is basically an in-built component of the Windows server, thereby costing you absolutely no extra payments. The files in VMWare are stored as VMDK files and the data in these are comparatively prone to corruption and loss than VHD files. So, you can also keep your data safer from damage in the Hyper-V server.
