I am trying to update Windows 7, but the following error code “WindowsUpdate_80070BC9” is displayed. Does anyone know what to do to try to find a solution?

Solution To WindowsUpdate_80070BC9

I recommend that you disable firewalls. Therefore, perform manual installation of the security update of MTC. Click Ignore when the error message appears.

Download and install standalone packages of these updates.

Make sure to change the firewall, the antivirus once the update is installed.

I recommend that you reset the Windows Update components together.

To mechanically reset Windows Update parts, click the “Repair” button or the link. In the File Transfer window, click Run and follow the steps in the Troubleshooting Wizard.
