I am receiving a message which states “spontaneous timeout period has expired” error 0x80070079 windows ten why does this error occur and how can I solve this error?

This type of message that spontaneous timeout period has expired appears when you are trying to transfer huge files. This shift might be inducted within your local network or your machine and an outer driver.

Steps to fix this error:

• Perform a clean boot

Go running and type MSConfig; the system configuration will be displayed in that go to services tab select all and click on disable, then apply the changes.

• Convert FAT32 to NTFS

You may know, shifting huge files is achievable only if the original drivers are formatted into NTFS, especially if you’re using a USB flash drive. So, make sure you convert FAT32 to NTFS.

• Disable firewall and antivirus

Go to control panel, security and turn off the firewall and even if any antivirus is available in your PC then turn it off.
