I have updated my system from windows 8.1 to windows 10. Now, when I am trying to sync my email with the default mail app, it is showing me the windows-10 mail error code 0x80072af9. I turned all the permission on and tried it. The third-party mail is working without any problem. How to use the default mail app without any problem?

Turn off the defender and try. The issue can be because of improper mail settings in the system. See the sync option is turned on or not. Check for the app connector and mail and calendar button status to turn them on. Then check the access of the calendar, to the app is turned or not, if not turn it on. Finally, try it by upgrading the app. Sometimes the operating system you are using will also cause the error.

You may receive error code “0x80072af9” when you try to synchronize your Windows 10 mail application. This problem can happen because of incorrect configuration or settings. Try this workaround. On Windows 10, start the Mail app then log in to your account. Once you are logged in, click “Settings” or the gear icon located on the bottom left corner. Next, under “Settings”, click “Accounts”.

Click your account then select “Change mailbox sync settings”. Check “Sync options”. After this, try synchronizing your mail app again.
