Hello techyv,

How to restore deleted message for Nokia n97? I accidentally deleted all the messages stored in my Nokia N97 mobile phone device, some of the messages that were deleted are very important. Is there a way to recover and resolve this issue? I really need some advice.

How to restore deleted message for Nokia n97?

Hi Louise, I believe I will be able to help you find a solution to your query to the best of my ability, indeed it is possible to recover your deleted messages. In order to solve this, you will anyway need to have a software for the task.

This software is known as the FEexplorer. This is what you will need to do to solve the error;

Download the FE explorer from the website;http://www.gosymbian.com/FE_download.html

Connect your phone to the computer to sync and install the software.  You will need administrator rights all through to perform these actions.

Open your phone's directory to browse. 

Go to your computer and open the system folder.

Open mail and look for folders named 0010001_s etc.

The files inside those folders are the ones that will contain the deleted messages.

Using the FExplorer's inbuilt text messages you can view the messages

Browse till you get the message you are looking for.
